Sims Is Back With “The Sims 4” Slated For 2014 Release
“The Sims 4” is presently being developed. That’s according to news from both Maxis and Electronic Arts.
The Sims is a life simulation game that allows players to produce virtual people who have needs, build houses and mimic actual life.
No details have been given about the game’s direction or how it could change. According to the EA website, there will be some new tools and sharing.
EA said Sims 4 will allow players to use the new tools to personalize the world they create, sharing the creativity with their friends.
“The Sims 4” will follow 2009’s launch of “The Sims 3” and Maxis will be the one to develop it. According to EA, the franchise is the most successful video game series with more than 150 million copies being sold around the world.
EA said the planned release for “The Sims 4” is going to be 2014 for both Macs and PCs. No details are available about a video game console version just yet.
