Popular Greek Yogurt Recalls Some Products

Chobani is doing a voluntary recall of some of its Greek yogurt after receiving several reports of bloated cups.

According to the New Berlin, N.Y.-based company, a complete and thorough investigation has revealed that a kind of mold typically found in the dairy setting is responsible for the containers swelling.

Chobani’s recall is limited to its Idaho-produced products and accounts for less than five percent of its actual production. The recalled containers have an expiration date of Sept. 11 to Oct. 7 with a 16-012 code.

Any customers who find they have these “recalled” containers should get in touch with Chobani at care@chobani.com
