Baseless Lawsuit: 5 Popular Entertainers Sued For Allegedly Stealing Inmate’s Written Lyrics

Well-known entertainers are being sued by a California inmate for allegedly stealing lyrics he wrote while in jail.

Jay Z, Beyonce, Chris Brown, Rihanna and Kanye West are all named in the April 21 suit brought forth by Richard Dupree for their part in the alleged crime. The suit states the party allegedly worked with the FBI, Department of Homeland Security and CIA for years to keep tabs on him, using satellite technology to steal the works Dupree says he wrote in his jail cell.  Dupree said the stars stole roughly 3,000 songs from him.

He asking for $2.4 billion in damages and demands he gets immediately released from prison.
